TRIVERRA COMMUNITY CODE OF CONDUCT
Last Updated: November 21, 2025
WELCOME TO THE TRIVERRA COMMUNITY!
We're dedicated to creating the best possible experience for everyone here. Our goal is to share knowledge, spark inspiration, and provide a supportive environment for all who want to build and have fun. All are welcome, from beginner to expert.
This code of conduct helps us all understand how to treat each other at meetups, workshops, hackathons, online forums, and everywhere else we gather as a community.
To report concerns or inappropriate behavior you can talk to one of the organizers or send an email to: info@triverra.dev
OUR CORE VALUES
Be welcoming
All Participants should feel welcome regardless of their background, identity, or experience level. Please make the extra effort to welcome new Participants and help everyone feel included in our Community. A diverse community is a stronger community.
Be kind and loving toward all
We expect all Participants to be kind and loving to all. When resentments and negative judgements arise, we have the opportunity to learn and upgrade our perspectives. We are patient and open to learning from others viewpoints, and we approach disagreements with curiosity rather than hostility.
Be of service
Our objective is that all participants get what they need to participate in a productive and enjoyable way. We ask all participants to look out for anyone who seems to need help.
For example, if you spot someone standing alone, please approach them, have a chat, and introduce them to others. This is one of the simplest, yet most valuable and rewarding, actions you can take.
We welcome all Participants to join our group of volunteers (“volunteers”). This is an excellent opportunity to have a good time, learn how to run great events, and network. We have many different service commitments, from welcoming guests at the entrance to providing technical support at hackathons. We also organize special dinners for our volunteers.
Ask for service
It is much easier for others to be of service if you ask for help or assistance when you need it. Don't hesitate to reach out to organizers, volunteers, or fellow participants.
Be conscientious
We are fortunate to have sponsors who invest money, volunteers who invest their time, and location partners who offer their office space to our Community. Let's appreciate their contribution by showing up and being on time.
Show up if you sign up! Our events are very popular and usually have long waiting lists. If you register but don't attend, you prevent someone else from participating. Please unregister as quickly as possible if you become uncertain about attending, so others can take your place. Late cancellations (day-before or same-day) make it difficult for others to make arrangements.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
All Participants are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully and professionally, both online and in person
- Respect different perspectives and experiences, even when you disagree
- Give and receive constructive feedback gracefully
